Really, this is my website. I'm a mathematical biologist living in Manchester, in the United Kingdom (but not in the part of Manchester called Swinton).

I'm not the Jonathan Swinton who runs a photography studio in Utah.

I am related by neither birth nor adjective to the fierce, posh, intriguing, avant-garde and beautiful actress Tilda Swinton

Swinton Insurance. I still kick myself for not asking for  a copy of their huge in-store posters saying "Swinton: Trust the man with glasses" while it was still their tagline. They don't seem to come up on Ebay, but let me know if you see one.

Ernest Swinton helped invent the tank. But my dad helped invent the Wagon Wheel.
